One could think of Emlyn as a sedentary at heart as the only place he ever lived in is his hometown of Liège in Belgium. His excuse is that his career in a notary practice doesn't allow as much travel as let's say international business. The truth is that this doesn't prevent him from loving to travel. His favorite type of vacation being the "intelligent" one, that is the ones which consist in learning the history and cultures of the visited countries. And he thinks that laying on the beach all day is quite a waste of time.

He also enjoys traveling through his own country and home area, whether it is by car, on a bike, or even walking, and if he has the opportunity to introduce these places to other people, it's even better.

He loves:

• Spending quality time with friends.

• Doing things for the first time.

• The smell of fir tree resin in the evening in the middle of a forest.

• Celtic and Irish music.

• Absurd humor and derision.

• To turn the radio on a random channel and stumble upon a song he likes while driving to work in the morning.

• That everything goes according to plan.

• Dishonesty and pettiness.

• People that take themselves too seriously.

• Routine and inactivity.

• To disappoint.

• Cats (and they don't like him either).

• Raw tomatoes.

• Unnecessary noise and agitation.
