Liège is a millenary city, old capital of the principality of the same name. Known for its industrial and commercial activity, especially in metallurgy, his also famous today for being one of the main university town of Belgium, counting about 60,000 university students for a population of 190,000 (6000,000 if counting all the suburbs).

Located on the Meuse river banks, between the Ardennes and the Flanders, the northernmost Latin city in Europe is a cultural and commercial crossroads between France, Germany and the Netherlands.
